The Mosaic and The Wanderer.Yes this whole has been beaten down, broken now in decrepitude.

IF....

.....my heart had not soared when you kissed me,
my lips had not freely complied,
my eyes had stayed open and focused,
my hands had stayed firm by my side,
my legs had not buckled and wavered,
my body not melted to yours,
my stomach not flipped in amazement,
resolve had stayed steadfast and true,
you would be forgiven for thinking
I had no attraction to you.....

however........

....my pulse is on fire and erratic,
my lips are now swollen and red,
my hair is alive with the static,
my mind is now racing ahead,
and the image I see is exciting,
my body is tingling inside,
with the thought of us taking the next step,
the though of just where this might lead,
makes me shiver with anticipation,
oh please...... help me find us a bed.
